Privacy Policy

Effective October 2026

This policy explains what information Flock Figures ("we", "us") collects when you visit flockfigures.com (the "Site") and how it is used.

Calculator inputs

Every calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored on our servers. The optional "use my location" button on the lighting calculator uses your browser's location permission only to fill in your latitude on the page. It is never transmitted to us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit, for security and performance. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views in aggregate.

Advertising and cookies

We may show ads served by third-party vendors, including Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states), we'll ask for your consent through a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set.

Affiliate links

Some links are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer may set a cookie to attribute a purchase to us. We do not receive your personal information from those retailers.

Children

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal information. Because we don't collect calculator inputs or accounts, we generally hold no personal information about you beyond standard server logs kept by our host.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
